HIIT Cardio & Abs Workout

Boy, do I have a calorie burner for you! Following a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) style workout, I alternated explosive cardio movements to get your heart pumping with traditional planks to bring your heart rate back down. The mix of high intensity anaerobic exercises and periods of less intense recovery periods is sure to get you sweating, burn fat and build muscle. Go through the circuit as many times as you want (I would recommend 1-3 times, depending on your fitness level and time constraints), with minimal rest between sets, and modify as needed. Now go get it! 💪

HIIT Cardio & Abs Workout


1 minute plank (either high plank or on elbows)

70 jumping jacks

30 second left side plank

60 mountain climbers (30 each side)

30 second right side plank

50 skaters (25 each side)

1 minute plank

40 jump squats

30 second left side plank

30 jumping split lunges (15 each leg)

30 second right side plank

20 bicycle crunch (10 each side)

1 minute plank

10 burpees
